23-Year-Old Warren Man Dies In Monday Motorcycle Crash

The man was driving a motorcycle north on I-75 when he lost control and struck a vehicle slowing on the roadway, according to police.

MADISON HEIGHTS, MI — A 23-year-old Warren man was killed Monday in a motorcycle crash on I-75, near 14 Mile Road, according to Michigan State Police.

State police said troopers responded to a northbound I-75 near 14 Mile Road in Madison Heights around 5:55 p.m. Monday following reports of a deadly crash involving a motorcycle.

According to Michigan State Police, preliminary investigation into the crash revealed that the victim was driving a motorcycle north on I-75 when he lost control and struck a vehicle slowing on the roadway.

The motorcycle driver was separated from his motorcycle, went over the median wall and was struck by a vehicle travelling south on I-75, troopers said. The driver was killed instantly, according to police. His name has not been released.
