The accused gunman led police on a chase into Ohio, according to reports. Four people are dead after his shooting spree.

DETROIT, MI – The gunman involved in a shooting that left four people dead on the westside of the city has shot himself to death after leading police on a chase into Ohio, report local media. The gunman had been considered "armed and dangerous," police said.

The initial shooting took place just before 9 a.m. Monday at the Sunoco gas station at Fenkell Avenue and Beaverland Street.

Police say the suspected gunman, identified as George Anthony Davis, 27, and who was recently paroled, pulled into the gas station and began talking with a woman in a SUV that was at the pumps being filled up. The woman was identified as the mother of the gunman's child. Another woman came from inside the gas station and climbed into a back seat.

The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot into the SUV multiple times, shooting the two women. The gunman also shot a man who was pumping gas into the SUV. The suspect then went to his car, and either reloaded his gun or picked up a second gun, and went back to the SUV and shot into the vehicle again.

Both women in the SUV, as well as the man pumping gas into the SUV were killed by gunshots, police said.

The man who was shot outside the car was identified as Deacon Ralphael Hall, a pastor at a local church. One of the women in the car was Hall's daughter, Cierra Bargineer, and the other woman was identified as Kristen Thomas, according to a report by WXYZ-TV.

The gunman then went to a nearby home on Faust Street, where he shot and killed a second man, identified as his cousin, before fleeing in a 2007 blue Nissan Altima with temporary tags. If anyone sees the vehicle, they are asked to notify police immediately.

No children were involved in the incident. "They were all adults," said Jacqueline Pritchett of the Detroit Police Department. "They all knew each other."

WTVG-TV, a television station in Toledo, reported that Hall shot himself in the head after leading police on a chase into Ohio along Interstate 280. Hall's death was later confirmed. The pursuit ended at about 2 p.m. Monday, according to the WTVG report.
