DEARBORN, MI — Eight people have been hospitalized in what has been described as a mass stabbing at a hookah lounge in Dearborn early Sunday morning.
A fight at the Taiga Hookah Lounge in the 6700 block of Greenfield Road in Dearborn led to the stabbings around 4:30 a.m., Click on Detroit and others have reported. No one had died as of early Sunday afternoon, according to reports.
A 34-year-old man was arrested early Sunday afternoon in connection with the hookah lounge stabbing, but he hadn't been immediately identified and official charges were not revealed. He was one of the eight hospitalized from the altercation, according to media reports.

Only one person is believed to be responsible for all the stabbings, according to an Associated Press report.
Detroit police said shots were fired in the incident, according to a FOX 2 Detroit report, but it appeared no one had been hit by the gunfire.
