All Of Southeast Michigan Could See Severe Weather Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Detroit said there is a moderate risk for severe weather in Southeast Michigan.

DETROIT, MI — All of Southeast Michigan could see severe weather between 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit.

The weather service reported the area could see wind gusts around 70 mph, hail up to 1-inch in diameter and torrential rainfall. The service also said there is the potential for lightning and tornadoes.

The storm will move southwest between 50 and 55 mph, according to the weather service.
