Another Highway Shooting Reported Along I-94
A woman's car was hit with gunfire while she drove along the highway in Romulus, police report.

ROMULUS, MI – After another highway shooting was reported late Tuesday, Michigan State Police troopers closed a stretch of Interstate 94 near Interstate 275. Police reported that a woman had been shot at while driving along the highway.
The State Police reported that a woman came to the Metro South Post just before midnight on Tuesday. The woman's car was hit once on the driver's side, according to police. The woman was not injured.
The highway was temporarily closed early Wednesday morning while troopers investigated. The highway has been reopened.

A series of highway shootings have been reported along Detroit area highway in recent weeks.
State police believe that three highway shootings, all which occurred in early December along Interstate 96 and near I-94 are connected. Police said the victims in the shootings, though, have no relationship with each other.

Police have no said whether the shooting on Tuesday could be related to those reported on Dec. 8.
