The single most pressing issue facing our state is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Covid-19. 1) Working to ensure our children can get back to school safely. 2) Working to ensure businesses can open safely and weather the storm of the economic effects. 3) Working to provide support for our elderly and the most vulnerable.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Experience, both political and private sector. With an engineering back ground this provided me with the multiple tools to be effective in problem solving, critical thinking, along with a business/numbers mindset. Budget is the top responsibility of the County Commission.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
1) Worked to create the regular gunlock give away program within Oakland County to ensure proper and safe storage. 2)Worked to develop the Human Trafficking task force within Oakland County to drive education and awareness to the public, along with providing support for all victims. 3) Minority vice chair of the Pandemic Response team, responsible for disbursement of the $219M CARES act funding throughout Oakland County. 4) many other resolutions in support of our residents throughout Oakland County.

What steps should state government take to bolster economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic for local businesses?
First off, disperse any relief funding provided from the state and federal government to support all businesses, which Oakland County is doing. 2nd, We must create boundaries and protocols for when positive COVID cases do occur, as they will, such as full disinfection of areas within the business. We can learn from our schools, and should not be shutting down businesses, but manage the risk throughout this pandemic.

How will you address the calls for racial justice and police reform?
More training for our police and not defunding them. I authored a resolution moving towards a new training and emergency response center. This will create an environment for increased training for all policing agencies around Oakland County.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:
I have no one issue that defines or drives my campaign. My personal focus is our future, which starts with protecting and guiding our children through giving them the opportunities to succeed. From the new drinking water fountain program in our schools, the school lunch program, our jobs programs, to the Human Trafficking task force.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I run and hold public office because I want to not because I need to. Being able to help others and improve the lives of those within Oakland County is something I truly enjoy. I work for the taxpayers.
