Multiple outlets are reporting that Los Angles Rams director of college scouting Brad Holmes will be the Lions' new general manager.

DETROIT, MI — The Detroit Lions are set to hire Los Angles Rams director of college scouting Brad Holmes as the franchise's new general manager, according to multiple reports.
Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network are among those who have reported that Detroit agreed to terms on a five-year contract with Holmes.
Holmes is the son of former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Mel Holmes and the nephew of Luther Bradley, a former first-round draft pick for the Lions in 1978, according to The Detroit News.

Holmes spent the last 18 years working with the Rams and played defensive tackle at North Carolina A&T., according to MLive.
Holmes will replace Bob Quinn, a former New England Patriots staffer who was hired by Detroit in 2016 and fired following this season's loss on Thanksgiving Day.
