Detroit Man Threatened Shooting In Social Media Posts: Police
The white man who portrayed himself as black threatened to "kill all white people" and a mass shooting at a school, according to a report.

DETROIT, MI – A white man, who portrayed himself as a black man saying he wanted to "kill all white people" in social media posts, has been arrested, according to a media report. Detroit Police Chief James Craig said police are asking that the 26-year-old man be charged with making terrorist threats, according to The Detroit News.
The man's online threats, which were made in a Facebook thread about breastfeeding, were noticed by a citizen, who reported them to police. Within hours, the accused man was in custody, according to the report.
The threats included a mass shooting at a school, according to the report.

“This suspect stated that he supports mass shootings and wanted to shoot kids in school,” Craig said. “A woman wrote something about breastfeeding, and he wrote back, ‘I’ll shoot up your kids and shoot up your school.’
“He had other social media posts,” Craig said. “He wrote, ‘I want to kill all white people’ and said he was a black man, but he’s actually a white man."
Craig said police expect to consult with the Wayne County Prosecutor's office within 48 hours, according to The News article.
