Detroit Teen Charged In Shooting Death of Stepfather
Wayne County prosecutors allege that Jaden McCallum shot Algernon Moore during an argument.

DETROIT, MI—A 17-year-old Detroit boy has been charged in the shooting death his stepfather during an argument in their Ward Street home on Saturday, according to the Wayne County prosecutor’s office. Jaden R. McCallum was arraigned earlier today on murder and felony firearm charges, and is being held in jail.
Prosecutors allege that McCallum shot his stepfather, Algernon Moore, 46, of Detroit, on Saturday. Police were called to the home about 6 p.m.
