Facebook Challenge Complete: After 1K Shares, Wanted Michigan Man Turns Himself In

Wanted on multiple warrants, "Champagne Torino" gave up to police on Monday.

REDFORD, MI – Michael Zaydel, aka "Champagne Torino," made good on his promise. Zaydel, wanted by the Redford Township police for outstanding warrants, turned himself in Monday evening, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

"He walked in on his own, and not only did he bring the donuts, he brought one bagel!" wrote police on the social media page Monday.

Zaydel, on Friday, Oct. 6, posted a challenge on the department's Facebook page, saying that if his post was shared more than 1,000 times, he would not only turn himself in, but he would bring doughnuts to the department and pick up trash around the community schools.
