Families Lose Homes, Fire Destroys Lincoln Park Apartments
BREAKING: All the the residents are believed to be safe, but some seven families are displaced at the holiday season because of the blaze.

LINCOLN PARK, MI – Several families have been displaced at the holidays after fire ripped through their apartment building early Friday morning. Firefighters were called to the Indian Village Apartments near Goddard Road and Fort Street just after 3 a.m.
All of the residents of the apartments were able to escape the flames, according to multiple news reports that attribute their details to the Lincoln Park Fire Department. Video footage from the scene shows the building engulfed in flames.
Firefighters by 8:30 a.m. were still on the scene of the fire. One firefighter confirmed that residents were safe, and that an investigation into the blaze has begun. A cause for the fire has not been determined.
