Good Karma: Good Deed Turns Into Lottery Payday For Mich. Man
After returning another man's wallet, a Wayne County man hit it big.

DETROIT, MI – A good deed has turned into good karma for a Wayne County man. After returning a wallet full of cash, he bought a lottery ticket that turned out to be a $300,000 winner, according to the Michigan Lottery.
The 29-year-old man, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the winning ticket at the Marathon gas station along Ecorse Road in Romulus. He bought the winning Instant Keno ticket after winning more than $800 on Daily 4 game, he told the Michigan Lottery.
"I found a wallet full of cash at the gym and returned it to its owner," said the man, according to a statement from the Michigan Lottery. "Ever since then, I’ve been riding a lucky streak."

The lucky player visited Lottery headquarters last Thursday, Feb. 22, to claim his prize. With his winnings, he plans to buy a new car, a new home, and then save the remainder.
Players have won more than $2 million playing Instant Keno, which launched earlier this month. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000. More than $19 million in prizes remain, including two $300,000 top prizes and 99 $2,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.
