Henry Ford Village Offers Seniors Chance to Increase Tech Skills

DEARBORN, Mich. – Henry Ford Village announced today it will host a webinar, “Get App Smart,” at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 24.

Attendees of the virtual event will be walked through senior-friendly apps for one’s smartphone, including where to find them, how to use them and why these apps are important. The discussion with professionals will primarily focus on apps that can make a difference in a senior’s daily life.

“A great number of our residents have embraced technology over the years – even more so during the pandemic – and are always looking for opportunities to increase their knowledge and skills to use technology to stay connected to friends and family and also take advantage of its many benefits,” said Adam Sterling, Resident Life Director, Henry Ford Village. “This ‘Get App Smart’ webinar is a hot topic and will introduce attendees to the many useful apps that are available and can help make life easier, including apps for medical purposes. This webinar offers something for everyone, including the growing number of tech-savvy residents and seniors throughout our community and neighboring cities.”
