Kid Rock To Join Donald Trump Jr. At Macomb County Rally Monday

The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Bumpers Landing Boat Club in Harrison Township, 31970 North River Road​, according to the campaign.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — Michigan native Kid Rock will be joining Donald Trump Jr. and adviser to President Donald Trump Kimberly Guilfoyle for a Make America Great Again! campaign rally in Harrison Charter Township Monday night.

The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Bumpers Landing Boat Club in Harrison Township, 31970 North River Road, according to the campaign's website. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Kid Rock's relationship with Donald Trump has been reported in the past, with the musician showing support for the president and posting for a photo on his Instagram account with the two of them together at a golf course in February. He has also regarded himself as a Republican throughout his life.

Trump Jr. and Kid Rock appeared together at an October 2018 event in Pontiac in support of Republican John James, a candidate for U.S. Senate, according to MLive.

Monday night's event is the latest in a parade of political events held in Michigan in recent weeks.

Trump visited Michigan Thursday, speaking at an airport hangar in Freeland, near Saginaw. On Wednesday, Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden visited Warren,where he spoke of a plan to focus on U.S. jobs and U.S. products.

According to MLive, Biden's wife, Jill, will be in Michigan on Tuesday, campaigning in Grand Rapids and Battle Creek.

She will be joined by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in Battle Creek for a listening session with military families.
