Rowdy Magnun PI Bachelor Party Ushered To The Exit At Comerica

A bachelor and 44 of his pals, presumably big fans of the '80s TV drama, went to the game on Saturday.

DETROIT, MI—Bachelor party. Those words conjure thoughts of strip clubs and bad behavior. For an Allen Park hubby-to-be, that meant a night at a Tigers game with 44 of his best buds, all dressed like macho man Magnum, P.I. And, yes, there were Hawaiian shirts, mustaches and Tigers ballcaps, just like Tom Selleck's character in the 1980s TV show.

But the party took a sour turn sometime during the Saturday night ballgame. Apparently, folks did not think Joe Tuccini and his team of Magnum-look-alikes were behaving appropriately. After reports of catcalling, security at Comerica Park revoked their tickets and asked them to leave, according to media reports.

Here's video of the incident:

Tuccini, 42, did not respond to a request for an interview on Wednesday morning. In an interview with the Detroit News, Tuccini said that he did not feel the group was misbehaving too badly.

"I'll admit we were loud and obnoxious, but saying it was catcalling was an exaggeration. No one did. We just went to the game and had a good time and took pictures with whoever wanted," Tuccini said. "All of a sudden security asked us to leave and we didn't make a big deal about it."

Tuccini told the newspaper that he and his buddies paid for their tickets and stayed at the game until the sixth inning, when they were asked to leave.

They did not miss much of a game, though. The Tigers ended up getting walloped hard by the Chicago White Sox, 10-4. And, while Tuccini and his buddies did not have much of a game to cheer for, they were celebrating a moment of popular culture greatness. People on social media agreed.

Oh, and just for good measure, cue the opening credits:
