Man Shot, Killed In Apparent Robbery Of Marijuana Dispensary

Police found the man behind the counter and cash register empty.

DETROIT, MI – A man was killed during an apparent robbery of a marijuana dispensary on the city's west side Wednesday evening, according to a report by The Detroit Free Press. The victim, a 28-year-old, was found shot behind the counter in the dispensary, the newspaper reported.

The victim was pronounced dead the scene. The incident happened at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday in a shop in the 12800-block of West Chicago Boulevard, according to the report. Officers arrived to find the victim, and the cash register open and no money inside it.

Police have no suspects.
