Marginal Risk For Severe Weather In Southeast Michigan Monday

The National Weather Service in Detroit reports that southeast Michigan has been upgraded to a marginal risk of severe weather Monday.

DETROIT, MI — Southeast Michigan faces a marginal risk for severe weather Monday, primarily concerning wind gusts, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit.

Potential threats to the area include damaging winds of up to 60mph, heavy rainfall and lightning, according to the National Weather Service.

Storms are expected to be at their most severe between 4 p.m. and midnight across all of southeast Michigan. The storm will move east at 30mph.
