Michigan Coronavirus Update: 2,230 New Cases, 20 More Deaths

More than 18,600 people in Michigan have died from COVID-19, according to state data.

LANSING, MI — Michigan on Monday reported 2,230 new cases of the coronavirus and added 20 more COVID-19 deaths, the totals of the past two days, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Monday's updated COVID-19 figures bring the state's total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 876,854. Michigan's coronavirus death toll stands at 18,627, according to state data.

Michigan health officials on Saturday said 755,119 people in the state had recovered from the virus.
