More Than 38K Without Power After Strong Storms Hit Detroit
Power outages have been reported throughout the Detroit metro. Hardest hit was Sterling Heights, where nearly 3,000 people have no power.

DETROIT, MI — More than 38,000 people are without power Saturday morning after storms, wind and heavy rain tore through the Detroit metro and southeast Michigan overnight.
As of 12 p.m., the worst outage was in Sterling Heights, where nearly 3,000 people are still without power due to wind damage. Residents of the town lost power just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, according to DTE Energy.
