NFL Draft 2018: Lions Bolster Offensive Line With 20th Pick
The Lions are looking to fill out their roster to fit first-year head coach Matt Patricia's game plan. See who they picked.

ARLINGTON, TX — The Detroit Lions have picked Frank Ragnow, a center from Arkansas, in the 2018 NFL Draft. There's was the 20th pick in the first round, which got underway earlier Thursday evening. Ragnow was a three-year starter and team captain as a senior for the Razorbacks.
Prior to the draft, much of the speculation was about adding another defensive end to compliment franchise player Ziggy Ansah; or a linebacker with the No. 20 pick. Meanwhile, on offense the Lions were eyeing a running back or big offensive lineman – obviously, the went with the latter.
The Lions finished 9-7 last season and, like most teams, have a lot more needs than picks. The biggest move the Lions might have made prior to the draft was bringing in Matt Patricia from the New England as head coach.
