Pistons Player With Coronavirus: 'Beat That'
He was the first known NBA player to be cleared of the coronavirus.
DETROIT, MI — The first known NBA player confirmed to have beaten the coronavirus sounded off on twitter Thursday.
Detroit Pistons power forward Christian Wood tweeted for the first time since contracting coronavirus, tweeting "Beat that rona." He followed it up by saying he believes he'll be an All-Star next year.

CBSSports previously reported that Wood was the third NBA player to test positive for the virus, but was the first to officially beat it. He contracted coronavirus, testing positive just days after the Pistons played the Utah Jazz, a team that had two players test positive for coronavirus.
