Police Capture Armed Man Seen On Porch Video
Detroit Police took the man into custody, and investigate why he showed up on a family's porch with a gun.

DETROIT, MI – Police have arrested a suspect who showed up on an Asbury Park family's front porch early last Saturday morning with a gun. Police arrested the man at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900-block of Prevost Street.
The man, who police have not identified, has been charged with felony possession of a firearm. A police spokesman told Patch that officers are still investigating why the man showed up on the family's porch with a gun in the middle of the night. A second suspect is also wanted in connection with the case.
The first suspect was captured on video at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, when he walked onto a porch of family's home in the 20000-block of Asbury Park. While holding a handgun, he rang the doorbell, and then tried to cover his face. He turned and ran from the porch, and met up with a man on the sidewalk, identified as a second suspect in the case.

Family members at the home did not know or recognize the armed man, police said.
Police earlier this week released an image of the first suspect to the media and asked the public for help identifying and locating him. "We had an idea who he was from the photo," said a police spokesman. Police also received several tips and were able to track him to the Prevost Street location.
