DETROIT, MI — Homer Simpson wonders if he’s been “Seger-shamed” in Sunday’s episode of the “The Simpsons,” which features Bob Seger saying “Rock and Roll Never Forgets, Unfortunately,” a nod to the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s 1977 song.

It’s unclear how the Motor City rocker will be worked into the plot of “Uncut Femmes,” which has Marge Simpson involved in a bank heist, The Detroit News reported. But a still released by the Fox network, which airs “The Simpsons” at 8 p.m. on Sundays (that’s WJBK-TV, Channel 2, locally), suggests viewers may get to hear Seger’s soaring voice.

He’s shown talking to Chief Wiggum, the top cop in the show’s fictional town of Springfield, at what may be a backstage meet-up.
