Seen This Driver? Police Ask Citizens For Help In Road Rage Case

The driver of a full-size Chevy pickup is wanted for questioning in the case.

HARPER WOODS, MI – Michigan State Police are asking the public to help find a suspect in a road rage shooting along Interstate 94 near Allard Avenue last week. The state police released three images of the suspect's red Chevrolet pickup, which had Kentucky license plates.

The victim of the incident was driving east on I-94 at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, according to the state police. The victim came up behind the pickup truck, and flashed his headlights to get the suspect to move right. When the suspect did not change lanes, the victim passed the pickup.

As the victim pulled alongside the pickup, the pickup's driver flashed a handgun and fired a shot, police said. The victim's vehicle was not damaged and the suspect exited the freeway at the Eight Mile Road exit.
