The National Weather Service says to expect thunderstorms as a cold front passes through the area and while the severe weather is not expected to be widespread, there is the chance for an isolated strong to severe storm.
The weather service says to watch out for damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall in the case of an isolated storm.

Today: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. West wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 78. North wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. North wind 7 to 10 mph.
Friday: Scattered showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. North wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
