Wayne County Residents Can Get Walk-Up COVID Vaccines This Week

Walk-up appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine are available for Wayne County residents through Saturday.

TAYLOR, MI — Wayne County residents still seeking to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination can get a walk-in vaccination through Saturday at in Taylor, county health officials said this week.

The Wayne County Public Health Department will accept COVID-19 vaccination walk-in appointments for county residents who are 16 years or older at its vaccine clinic at Wayne County Community College District - Downriver Campus, 21000 Northline Road, Wednesday through Saturday.

Pfizer vaccines will be available between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The vaccines are free and no appointments are necessary, officials said in a news release. The walk-ins are limited to Wayne County residents, and people younger than 18 and looking to be vaccinated must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
