Wayne Pediatrics Seeking Families Who Love Storytime

In collaboration with DPSCD, children and their families are invited to listen to short stories read by young people this week, via Zoom.

Wayne Pediatrics is pleased to offer Virtual Bedtime Stories: Children Reading to Children, a collaboration with Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD), where students serve as guest readers to their peers.

The initiative supports the goal of many parents in providing a calming environment to help children wind down before bedtime. The effort also supports the goals of DPSCD students enrolled in Teaching Career Academies who aspire to become educators following graduation.

Virtual Bedtime Stories: Children Reading to Children takes place on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. The program is free for families to participate following registration to secure the Zoom link by sending an email to virtualbedtimestories@waynepediatrics.org. New book titles are featured weekly.
