Winter Warning: Snow Won't Go Away – Just Keeps Falling
The National Weather Service issues advisory for southeast Michigan.

DETROIT, MI – Perhaps Old Man Winter is feeling a pinch. Spring, his calendar says, is a mere two weeks away and he wants to leaving a lasting impression. Thus, that dreaded snow is falling again.
The National Weather Service has taken note and renewed a hazardous weather alert. The service said the snow currently falling in southeastern Michigan will continue through Wednesday morning and become scattered during the afternoon. About an inch of snow is expected.
Winter will be back Thursday, too, the weather service forecasted. Some 2 to 3 inches of snow will fall in parts of Wayne, Monroe and Lenawee counties.

Meanwhile, the Michigan Department of Transportation reported multiple crashes along the roads and highways this morning. The agency also reported that road repairs that had been scheduled for Interstate 75 and 696 have been canceled due to the winter weather.
