The Motor City is ranked as one of the worst cities in the nation to find a job.

DETROIT, MI – Thinking about finding a new job in the new year? If you're in Detroit, you might not want to give up the one you got. Detroit, according to a new ranking, is one of the worst cities in the nation to find a new job.
Of 182 cities across the nation, Detroit is ranked at 181st best place to find a new job, according to WalletHub.com, a financial information and credit scoring web site. The only city that's worse is Shreveport, Louisiana.
The web site considered the 150 most populated cities, plus at least the two most populated cities in each state. It based the rankings on two primary dimensions:
• Job market, which considered metrics such as employment growth, salaries and benefits, and job security and satisfaction; and
• Socio-economics, which considered metrics such as housing affordability, transit accessibility, and family friendliness environment.

Detroit ranked No. 176th for job market and 181st for socio-economics.
So, if Detroit is one of the worst cities to find a job, the obvious question is which cities are best to find a new job? According to WalletHub, four of the top five cities have one primary factor in common – Arizona. The top five cities are:
