Winter Weather Advisory In Effect For Southeast Michigan
The advisory begins Tuesday night and extends through noon on Wednesday.
SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — A winter weather advisory has been issued for southeast Michigan. The advisory begins Tuesday night and continues through noon on Wednesday.
According to the alert, southeast Michigan counties could see snow accumulations of up to two inches, and a light glaze of ice accumulation. The hardest-hit area will be Metro Detroit, according to the alert.

Most of the snow accumulations are expected to take place between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 2 a.m. Wednesday. Light freezing rain is then expected between 6-9 a.m. Wednesday.

Officials said drivers should plan on slippery road conditions, with hazardous conditions expected during the Wednesday morning commutes.
