Yoshio Chandler Named Advocate Health Advisors Regional Manager

Yoshio Chandler has joined Advocate Health Advisors as Regional Manager. In this role, Chandler will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting insurance agents throughout Michigan.

Chandler, who is based in Detroit, Mich., will help established agents grow their Medicare business and work with national insurance carriers that offer Medicare Advantage plans. Offered by private insurance companies, Medicare Advantage plans offer a wide variety of non-medical benefits and provide coverage for social determinants of health, such as transportation, fitness plans and meal delivery.

Advocate Health Advisors agents are Medicare experts who serve as trusted advisors for those who are Medicare eligible and specialize in helping those turning 65. The company has agents in all 50 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

“Yoshio will be a great asset to the Advocate Health Advisors team. I am excited to have him recruiting and building our brand in Michigan,” Advocate Health Advisors Regional Director Larry Carroll said.

Previously, Chandler was agency manager for an insurance agency in Connecticut. He also has held roles at Enterprise Rent-a-Car and HealthMarkets, where he received a President’s Award and Chairman Award.
