Ypsilanti Man Nabbed By FBI's Terror Unit After Weapons Found At Detroit-Area Storage Unit
The 28-year-old man was first questioned after he was block from boarding a flight to Jordan, authorities say.

DETROIT, MI — A Ypsilanti man suspected in terror-related activities is expected to be back in federal courtroom on Tuesday. Yousef Mohammad Ramadan, 28, was arrested Friday and was arraigned in a federal courtroom during a closed hearing on Saturday, according to reports.
Agents blocked him from boarding a flight to the Middle East, and he was arrested after FBI agents discovered a cache of weapons in a storage unit, according to a report in the Detroit News. Members of the FBI counterterrorism unit and the U.S. Attorney’s national security unit are leading the investigation.
Ramadan is currently being held in the Wayne County jail on firearms charge.

FBI agents approached on Aug. 15, when he and his family tried to board a flight bound for Amman, Jordan, according to a report by WDIV-TV in Detroit. Last week, FBI agents searched the rental unit and discovered multiple unregistered rifles and handguns. Among the weapons were components of an AR-15 assault rifle.
