Dexter Democrat Files To Run In 7th District Primary

Dexter’s Steven Friday filed paperwork Dec 15th to run in the August 2018 Democratic primary for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District. Friday faces off against former Saline mayor Gretchen Driskell who ran unsuccessfully in 2016 against the incumbent currently holding that seat, Republican Congressman Tim Walberg.

"Too many people are struggling to survive the serious income and wealth inequality and lack of social justice that our current system has put in place," Friday said in a statement. "The most vulnerable among us will be made to suffer."
