Help Baker College’s human services students ‘Stuff a Bus’ for Jackson-area children in need Dec. 5-7

New, unwrapped toys to be distributed by Salvation Army, Toys for Tots

Baker College’s Jackson campus is helping Santa – and the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots – deliver toys to Jackson-area children in need this Christmas, thanks to students pursuing careers in the human services field.

“Students in the Baker College human services program learn to help individuals overcome difficulties to improve their lives,” said Marie Bonkowski, Baker College of Jackson director of student affairs. “This toy collection is a natural extension of what they are learning in class.”

The public can help. New, unwrapped toys for all ages can be dropped off, Monday-Tuesday, Dec. 5-6, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Wednesday, Dec. 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The bus will be in the front parking lot of the Jackson campus, 2800 Springport Road.
