St. Mary School opens the school year with new play structure

students cheer new play area

Two years of fundraising preceded the loud cheers from St. Mary School students as a beautiful new Little Tikes play structure was unveiled to start the school year. Supporters contributed $30,000 for the structure.

“The children were really excited to try out their new play structure,” said Principal Veronica Kinsey. “We are grateful for the parents and supporters that made it possible for us to purchase the new structure, which will make recess even more enjoyable.”

A video tour of the new structure can be seen on St. Mary School’s Facebook page.
