$1,000 Reward Offered In Bank Robberies

A man who robbed a Farmington Hills bank Tuesday is also a suspect in a bank robbery in the same area on May 31. A $1,000 reward is offered.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man who robbed Chase Bank, 26029 Middlebelt Road, around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Farmington Hills police said.

Police said the man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen walking southeast toward a Kroger store. Police said the man didn't imply he had a weapon, nor was one seen.

The suspect is described as a black male with black hair and a full beard between the ages of 20-25; approximately 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall; and about 220 pounds.

He was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and black Chicago Bulls baseball cap when he was last seen.

The same man is believed to have committed a Farmington Hills bank robbery on May 31 at the Bank of America, located in the same area. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 leading to the arrest of this individual.
