UPDATED: Accidents, Downed Utility Pole Close Orchard Lake at Grand River
Three cars were involved in two separate accidents that occurred simultaneously Wednesday afternoon.

UPDATE: At around 4:40 p.m., Farmington Public Safety issued an announcement via Facebook that northbound Orchard Lake Road, between Grand River and Astor Street, will be closed another four hours, as DTE crews work on the downed utility pole.Â
Farmington Public Safety Director Bob Schulz said the closure is due to two accidents that occurred simultaneously Wednesday afternoon.Â
Schulz said no one was injured, and alcohol was not a factor in either of the accidents, one of which toppled a utility pole.Â
Farmington Public Safety and Farmington Hills Police were on the scene at around 12:30 p.m., after one vehicle left Orchard Lake and hit a light pole, and two other vehicles collided when a driver veered left. Â
Officers directed pedestrians away from the east side of the road, due to the danger of sagging power lines near Dan's Sub Shop and other commercial buildings.Â
