Bring Tinseltown to Your At-home Oscars-Viewing Party
Go Fug Yourself founders and red-carpet experts show you how to party Hollywood style and talk Oscar's

Time to roll out the red carpet because award season is here! Didn’t score an invite to the show? No problem! Grab your closest friends and host the hottest gathering of the year with an awards-themed viewing party. Whether you want to go all out or keep it simple, bringing the glitz and glamour of Tinseltown to your living room is easier than you think. This year, you and your VIPs will be toasting to great films and gawking at the celebrities in style!
Don’t know what to drinks to serve your guests? “Drinks are the most important part because you get everybody together for the awards ceremony, you want to keep it flowing, you want to keep them entertained and you want to keep the energy up,” said Heather Cocks. “For me personally I start with what’s in the glass that’s the lynch pin and I tend to prefer wine or champagne just because that is what they serve at the Oscar’s and to me I like to keep it on theme and this year they are actually serving Frances Ford Coppola wine which is really appropriate and they have a red and white and if you want bubbles they will be serving Piper-Heidsieck champagne.”
Wondering what the stars will be wearing on the red carpet. “I’m actually excited to see what really does come down the red carpet at the Oscar’s,” said Jessica Morgan. “My prediction is I think we are going to see a lot of volume this year. Look for a sleeve which I always say is a relief to me because I hate arm day at the gym so let’s bring sleeves back. We’re going to see a lot sleeves on women. We’re going to see a lot of color, obviously the Oscars is when everyone brings out the big guns in terms of their jewelry so look forward to a lot of sparkles and I think the men may surprise us this year. I think the year of the classic black-tie is over and we’re going to see some color on the men’s tuxedos as well. It should be a really bright red carpet.”
