Danielle Stislicki Update: Police Searching Hines Park For Clues
Farmington Hills and other agencies are searching for clues in the disappearance of Danielle Stislicki in Hines Park.

(UPDATED) FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — The investigation into Danielle Stislick’s disappearance continues to progress. Early Wednesday, the FBI, Farmington Hills and the Livonia police departments searched Hines Park for clues in the case.
“Law enforcement authorities have expressed since day one that Danielle Stislicki was a victim of a crime,” said Farmington Hills Police Chief Chuck Nebus, said in a news release. “The facts of the case lead us to believe she is not alive. Several air, land, and water searches have been conducted at various places throughout the investigation.
“Hines Park is being searched as the result of a recent Livonia and Farmington Hills joint investigation,” Nebus said. “This investigation has led to criminal charges in Livonia against Floyd Galloway, a 30-year-old resident of Berkley. Because the Livonia incident occurred in Hines Park, it is a location that requires searching. There is no specific information or evidence that leads us to believe Danielle’s remains are in the park.”

WJBK-TV reported that the search for evidence in the Danielle Stislicki case is in the area of Hines Drive and Newburgh Road in Livonia. Hines Drive is shut down in the area right now.

While police are searching the area, Nebus said evidence could be located anywhere in the park, which stretches from Dearborn in the east to Northville Township in the west.
“Evidence could be out in the open or concealed inside objects such as bags, containers, suitcases, trunks or bedding,” Nebus said in the release. “Items to be watchful for are Danielle’s sky blue colored three-in-one Eddie Bauer coat, black zip-up shirt, blue jeans, and burgundy boots. The public is also asked to look for a tan and brown striped comforter, which could also be important to this case.”
Anyone with any information about the disappearance of Danielle Stislicki is urged to contact the Farmington Hills Police Department Command Desk at 248-871-2610.
Stislicki, who lived in a Farmington Hills apartment, went missing Dec. 2, 2016. Her Jeep was found outside her home at the Independence Green apartments the following day, but police think it was driven there by a third party. Her purse and other items were still inside. She was last seen at MetLife in Southfield.

As for Galloway, he is not an official person of interest in Stislicki’s disappearance, Farmington Hills Police said last month in an interview with Patch. Galloway was arrested by Livonia Police last month in a separate case for attempted sexual assault of a female jogger in Hines Park in Livonia.
In the Livonia case, Galloway is accused of grabbing a 28-year-old woman who was jogging on Hines west of Levan Road. Livonia Police believe Galloway dragged her toward the Rouge River to have sex with her. But she was able to fight back enough that her attacker fled.
Galloway is a former security guard who worked for a contracted company that provided security at MetLife in Southfield where Danielle Stislicki worked, Farmington Hills Police said. Galloway was acquainted with Stislicki during his security duties at MetLife, the department said.
Galloway has been interviewed by police in connection with Stislicki disappearance and his Berkley home searched. Livonia Police have executed more than 60 search warrants in the case.
