Discover Cool DIY Projects to Improve Your Home This Spring
Home Improvement TV Host and DIY Anthony Carrino Shows Us Innovative Products and NEW Methods to Improve your Home on a Budget

Spring not only brings warmer temperatures but it is also the time for buying homes and settling into them and getting ready to make up-dates to suite their style. But for those who have a home, spring is the perfect time to update without a major renovation or make the minimalist of changes.
Creating a beautiful and comfortable home is an essential part of happiness, according to Anthony Carrino. Just in time to spruce up your home for spring, Anthony has some affordable ideas to create or rejuvenate a home.
“The first thing I think of with spring is getting outdoors,” said Carrino. “One of the things people are generally in the market for new lawn mower and I like to recommend to people is to check out a lawnmower that is powered by Briggs and Stratton engine. These guys really put a lot of focus on technology and pushing that tech forward for a better procut. Their mowers are two times more powerful and run three times longer than some of the battery operated mowers that are on the market. Check out some of the latest innovations in gas mower technology from Briggs & Stratton like Just Check & Add which eliminates oil changes and Quiet Power Technology which makes the mower up to 50 percent quieter. Briggs & Stratton also has a Starting Promise which means it’s guaranteed to start within 2 pulls or they will fix it for free.”

Need a handy tool for a DIY project? “My go-to DIY project tool is the Bernzomatic TS-8000 Max Heat Torch that is your must-have home improvement tool to tackle dozens of projects in and out of the home. Ive did everything from charring wood walls on my roof deck. I brazed metal for Rachael Ray’s Studio Kitchen and Soldered a custom motorcycle helmet rack out of copper pipes…all with the press of a button. And if you pair it with a MAP-Pro™Cylinder you can work even faster because it has a higher burn temperature than standard propane cylinders. Both are available at your local Home Depot, or hardware store.”
“Something that my homeowner clients don’t usually consider that I like to point them to is to think about changing their doors. Believe it or not, interior doors offer 800-square-feet of visual impact in the average home. Updating your doors is going to make a big impact in the home. asonite recently launched its feature interior door for 2019. Livingston from Masonite is a unique, versatile and timeless interior door designed to freshen up the look of your home, no matter the style – with distinct design detailing. It comes pre-primed, which saves a bunch of time, and is ready for paint so you can match your room’s existing color palette and design. A beautiful Livingston door welcomes you into each space with a modern, yet timeless form. As a contractor, I love this versatile alternative to the six-panel door we commonly see in homes.”
