First Presbyterian of Farmington Hills is well known for its' musical offerings. For decades local and international musicians have selected First Pres as the venue of choice for their performances. As a result many musicians choose First Pres as their home church and those seeking great music know this is one of the best places places to find it. An average Sunday at First Pres can surprise you with anything from Bach to New Orleans Jazz to folk songs from Cameroon.
It is with anticipation that First Presbyterian of Farmington Hills invites everyone who loves music and plays to their annual Christmas Gathering on Monday, Dec. 3 at 7:00 p.m. This festive event is sponsored by Presbyterian Women and open to all men, women, youth, and guests. Cookies and piano music in Knox Hall will be followed by a musical program (vocal solos, piano, flute and dance) and a short play in the sanctuary, “Christmas Unwrapped”, a comedy is set in a store the day after Christmas as disgruntled customers are making their returns.
First Pres welcomes director Pam Jusino - graduate of CUNY with a double major in Theatre and Religious Studies.
