Four Face Narcotics-Related Charges After Farmington Hills Traffic Stops
The following information was provided by Farmington Hills Police. Arrests and charges do not indicate a conviction.

Residents of Roseville, Highland, Hartland and Howell all face narcotics-related charges, after two traffic stops made by Farmington Hills Police Sunday:
- An officer stopped a speeding vehicle at 12 Mile and Halsted shortly before 2 a.m. and noticed an odor of marijuana while speaking with the driver, a 42-year-old Roseville man. According to police, the man produced a valid medical marijuana license and two pill bottles containing marijuana. Because it was not properly secured, he was ticketed. Police also found cocaine and prescription drugs inside the vehicle.Â
- Officers patrolling in the area of I-696 and Haggerty stopped a vehicle shortly after 8 p.m., after noticing a large trailer hitch obscured its license plate. According to police, the driver, a 23-year-old Hartland man, had a suspended license, and passengers, a 27-year-old Highland man and 21-year-old Howell woman, told officers they had been in Detroit buying drugs. Police said a search of the vehicle turned up a marijuana pipe, two syringes and a small plastic bag containing crack cocaine.Â
