The power failures began around 5 p.m Thursday night, continuing to effect more and more people until about 10:45 p.m.

Thurdsay evening, DTE’s outage map showed that most of the affected customers in the area live The largest south of 13 Mile Road between Farmington Road and Orchard Lake Road, those to the east of Larkspur and to the north of Meadowlark, and also those north of Eight Mile Road between Halsted Rd and I-275. Friday, the company added customers east of Middlebelt and several other smaller neighborhoods to the list of those without power.

DTE says customers can expect power to be on by 11:30 p.m., Friday, March 2 at the latest.
