
As efforts to vaccinate American children against COVID-19 are well underway in the U.S., SYKES surveyed American parents and found that while more than half of surveyed parents are hesitant about immunizing,
Here's a preview of SYKES' latest survey findings:
- 90% of hesitant parents indicate they could be convinced to get their child(ren) vaccinated against COVID-19.
- 64% of hesitant parents feel some or a lot of guilt about their choice not to get their child(ren) vaccinated this year.
- 27% of parents will take their child(ren) on vacation this year ONLY if their child(ren) are vaccinated against COVID-19.
- 28% of parents say they are not okay with letting unvaccinated family members care for their child(ren).
- 36% of parents say they are not okay with their child(ren) being taught by an unvaccinated teacher next school year.
- 2 in 5 parents say they judge other parents for choosing not to vaccinate their children.
- 36% of parents say they've learned about the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines from Facebook, 26% say Instagram has informed them, and 25% say podcasts have taught them about COVID-19 vaccines.
