According to reports, two teenagers arrested in Detroit are in police custody.

Farmington Hills Police have two Detroit teenagers in custody in connection with an early morning robbery and carjacking at a Dunkin' Donuts on Grand River and Eight Mile Road.

In a press release issued late Thursday morning, police said the victim, a 34-year-old woman, was sitting in her car at the restaurant when the incident occurred at 3:41 a.m. After being driven a short distance, she was able to escape. Her cell phone and purse were stolen.

Detectives found the victim’s car through GPS technology and arrested the 16-year-old and 17-year-old suspects at 10 a.m., in the area of the Lodge freeway service drive and Six Mile in Detroit. Police said no one was injured during the robbery or arrests.

Police Chief Chuck Nebus said Thursday afternoon that the teens will likely be arraigned on Friday in 47th District Court.
