Boogie Fever Reopening In Ferndale

Beloved Dance Bar Is Back Due To Popular Demand

Ferndale nightclub Boogie Fever will reopen this weekend. The popular nightclub, famed with its massive lighted dance floor, had been transformed into Twisted Tavern, getting a massive renovation and the new concept in 2014. Patrons missed the old club’s diverse musical selections and quirky elements, like the full-size mannequin who oversaw festivities from inside a massive half-mood hung over the bar.

While elements of the old make their return at the Woodward Avenue club Saturday, Jan. 20 with a sold-out grand opening party, the owners also plan include a 140-seat cafe at the entrance, so you can eat before you dance. The menu will offer season fare, craft beers and a wine list.
