COVID-19 Vaccinations Available For Ferndale Residents
The city announced this week it is partnering with Oakland County to begin a clinic at the Kulick Community Center.

FERNDALE, MI — Ferndale residents still looking for a COVID-19 vaccination will have an opportunity for a shot at the city's Kulick Community Center next week, with future dates possible, as well.
The city announced this week it was partnering with Oakland County to begin a clinic at the center, with initial dates being from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 5-6.
“I’ve been speaking to residents, business owners, and employees, and this a real want—a real need—in Ferndale,” Mayor Melanie Piana said. “We have a community that wants to step up and do their part to keep their friends and neighbors safe and end this pandemic, and I’m thrilled that we’re able to deliver a service to help accomplish this goal.”

The clinic will provide Pfizer vaccines and is by appointment only, with 500 doses available each day, officials said.
Wednesday’s clinic was made available to members of the public already in a queue with the County’s Save My Spot portal. The May 6 clinic has been reserved for Ferndale-area residents and employees — specifically anyone who lives or works in Ferndale, Royal Oak Twp., or Pleasant Ridge, officials said.
