Ferndale Blues Festival Continues This Weekend

The 17th Annual Event Raises Money For Area Children's Charity.

The 17th annual Ferndale Blues Festival continues through Saturday, Feb. 3, at at variety of outlets in town. The event raises funds for Ferndale Youth Assistance, a nonprofit that provides Ferndale students with counseling, scholarships for summer camps, skill building workshops, and other services, including a support fund for families in need. This weekend’s schedule features performances by the Bobby Rose Band and Eliza Neals, among others.

Friday’s Performance Schedule:

  • 6 p.m.: Luther Badman Keith at Rosie O’Grady’s
  • 8 p.m.: Eliza Neals and the Narcotics at Otus Supply
  • 9 p.m.: The Alley Cats at Soho
  • 9 p.m.: Karaoke at Sneaker’s Pub
  • 9:30 p.m.: Jennifer Westwood and the Handsome Devils at Valentine Distilling Co.
9:30 p.m.: The Bobby Rose Band at Dino’s Lounge.

Rosie O’Grady’s, 279 W. Nine Mile Road, hosts the event wrap party Saturday. Events there begin at 10 a.m. with a performance by an Elvis tribute act, followed by Lady Champagne at 3 p.m. and concluding with a performance by Howard Glazer, Harmonica Shah and Billy Davis at 7 p.m.
