Ferndale Gallery Summer Exhibit Has Everything, Except Sticker Shock

About 50 local artists are exhibiting their work at the gallery showcase, a 20-year tradition at Ferndale's Lawrence Street Gallery.

Ferndale, MI — Art lovers will find everything one-of-a-kind art without experiencing the sticker shock of some galleries during the annual Lawrence Street Gallery Summer Exhibition, which continues through July 29.

The two are among about 50 artists whose work will be featured at the multimedia exhibition, which features local artists, The Daily Tribune reports. The show has been going now for about 20 years.

Winnie Chrzanowski, who does public relations for the gallery, said prices are reasonable. The art fair is also inside, which means you're not at the mercy of the weather if you decide to go.

“If people enjoy going to art fairs, they can come to the indoor summer exhibit and not have to worry about the weather being too hot or rainy,” Chrzanowski said.

]The Lawrence Street Gallery Summer Invitational runs June 29 to July 29, at the gallery, 22620 Woodward Ave, Ferndale. Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday, noon-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
