Ferndale Police: 19-Year-Old Woman Shot Early Thursday Morning
Police said they believe a suspect fired several shots into a home, hitting the victim multiple times as she lay in bed.
FERNDALE — A 19-year-old Ferndale woman was shot multiple times early Thursday morning, according to Ferndale Police.
Police were dispatched to the 300 block of West Bennett around 2:15 a.m. following the report that there were numerous shots fired in the area, police said. All available police vehicles were dispatched to the scene, where they found the victim, police said.
Ferndale Fire Rescue also responded to the scene and transported the victim to Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital, police said. Police have not released the victim's condition.
